Chronic Fatigue Natural Treatment
Chronic fatigue natural treatment gives you an alternative to drugs and medications. It can also supplement and support your medical treatment plan.
There are so many herbs, supplements and remedies available for chronic fatigue that many people with chronic fatigue syndrome are tempted to try them all, hoping to find the "magic pill" that will cure their disease. However, massive supplementation can not only be costly, but it could also have potentially dangerous or unwanted side effects.
There is, of course, no magic pill for chronic fatigue syndrome. Furthermore, what works for one person may not work for another. However, the supplements included here are considered to be safe and have been shown to be effective for many people.
Chocolate. That's right! Recent studies have shown that dark chocolate improved tiredness and function in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome.
Multi-vitamin. Every vitamin and nutritional mineral is very important in some way to health. Taking a multi-vitamin daily can have a dramatic effect on your well-being.
Vitamin B complex. The B vitamins are important for the proper formation of every cell in your body, particularly nerve cells. They enhance immune and nervous system function. They are essential for energy production. They also help combat the symptoms and causes of stress, depression, and cardiovascular disease. Vitamin B complex is best taken in the morning.
Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is a key nutrient in CFS. Vitamin B12 improves mental function, helps alleviate depression, and plays a role in melatonin production necessary for good sleep. Some research indicates that the majority of people with CFS are low in B12. Many CFS patients have responded dramatically to B12 injections. However, a new vitamin B12 patch is now available that is an effective and more convenient alternative to vitamin B12 injections.
Calcim/Magnesium/Zinc. In addition to keeping our bones strong and healthy, calcium can aid in falling asleep and staying asleep at night. Magnesium and zinc help in its absorption. Magnesium is involved in hundreds of different body functions. It is important for the muscles' and body's strength and energy. It is also vital for maintaining a healthy heart. Zinc plays an important role in immune resistance and energy metabolism.
Fish oil. Essential fatty acids found in fish oil have many beneficial properties. They have an anti-inflammatory effect and can be beneficial for pain. Fish oil may help protect the brain from cognitive problems. Recent studies have suggested that fish oil may reduce the risk of depression. It is also good for heart health.
Melatonin is a hormone secreted by the pineal gland that regulates our circadian rhythm, telling us when to sleep and when to wake. Supplementing with melatonin has been shown to reduce the amount of time necessary to fall asleep, boost the percentage of time in bed spent asleep, and increase total sleep duration. It is also a powerful antioxidant that offers neurological protection. New studies also suggest it may help prevent and limit the effects of migraines. Although melatonin is available in doses from 1 to 5 mg, most people respond very well to the lower doses. Melatonin is most often found in pill form, but there is also a new fast-acting strip that dissolves in the mouth
that is very effective.
Coenzyme Q10. Co-Q10 is critical for the body's electron transport system to harvest ATP energy from food. Co-Q10 has also been demonstrated that it can enhance immune function, assist weight loss, and improve exercise tolerance. It may also decrease allergies.
Glutathione is a very powerful anti-oxidant. It is so important because it is found in every cell of the body. Glutathione helps detoxify substances like heavy metals and pesticides. It maintains the body's mitochondria, which recently have been identified as playing an important part in CFS. It also improves immune function.
Chronic fatigue Syndrome (CFS) has been linked to glutathione deficiency and oxidative stress. Leading CFS researchers, such as, Dr Paul Cheney, agree that low glutathione levels are a contributing factor in CFS. Come and visit us to learn more on how glutathione can greatly help alleviate your CFS symptoms!
NADH. NADH is very important in energy production. It stimulates the production of the neurotransmitters responsible for sleep, emotional balance, alertness, concentration, mental activity, a sense of well-being, and energizing the body. NADH has been shown to improve depression. It has also been demonstrated that it works to replenish depleted cellular stores of ATP, thus improving fatigue and cognitive dysfunction.
